the Duke of Puke
Bob learned to fish from his dad at the age of 10. The oldest of our crew (born in the 40's!!!) he's a true die-hard fisherman.
Bob continues to come out week after week in spite of his problem with sea sickness. Hence the name, Duke of Puke. Mostly, his
problem is under control and he's right there with us putting numbers on the board. His favorite fish to catch is Striped Bass
followed closely by Fluke. Offshore Bob likes tangling with Tuna. Bob has fished other locations such as Mexico & Florida. The best
is when we are working a school of feeding fish. For some reason, Bob hasn't quite gotten the knack of this yet so he spends most of
this time tying on new lure after lure instead of fishing. But when it comes to fluke, he is consistently the top producer & a great
friend.
Sadly, after a year long gallant fight, Bob lost his battle with cancer. It's hard to put into words what Bob's passing will do to the
lives of so many people. All that came to know Bob came to love him and wish him the most restful of sleep. Bob leaves behind a wonderful
loving family including a wife, 2 beautiful daughters, 2 magnificent grandchildren and 2 son-in-laws. A brother and a host of other relations.

I pray that I may live to fish.......
Until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord's great landing net
And peacefully asleep
That in His mercy I be judged
Big enough to keep.
