Alan & Captain Tom

After a LATE start (Captain Tom was 45 minutes late and we goofed around with some working birds in Renolds) we headed out for either bass or
fluke. Seeing clammers on the horizon set us straight. Bass it is. We got behind 1 boat and on our 3rd drift Allan picked up a nice 30" fish.
Shortly afterwards he had another. Then Tom landed a short. Soon this boat was having hydrolic problems and stopped fishing but we spotted
another about 3 miles further west. As soon as we got there Allan lands a nice 37" fish and the cooler is full. After another few fish we
noticed the first clammer is working again just as this boat is calling it quits. We shoot over and after 1 hall we land 2 more fish (including
a trophy 42" fish by myself) and then he stops clamming again. So, on Captain Tom's advice we toss over a chum pot and begin to haul in tons
of big fish furiously for about an hour. When the chum stopped, so did the fish. At 2pm we switched over to fluke and caught only shorts. about
20 of them then at 3:15 shot in as the thunder storms were beginning.
