All good things must come to an end. And it always has to happen on Saturdays & weekends. The incredible football tuna fishing we've enjoyed disipated much to the dislike of the hundreds of boats that went out on Saturday. We pulled 7 lines with an assortment of large & small, green & reds, swimmers and smokers... & only one knockdown. Actually it was a double header but the second fish hit as we slowed the boat for the first and there wasn't enough foward motion after the release clip did it's job to set the hook. Then, the angler on the first fish was having a tough time (30 pound standup international setup) and asked for a belt. Well, it seems he stopped fighing the fish while we belted him in. Once he was ready, the fish was gone. Gotta keep them lines TIGHT!
