We ran out to Cholera hoping for some good old fashioned light tackle bluefish action. We were not dissapointed. First we started with a few drifts for SeaBass. After nailing a few but loosing as many rigs, we dropped anchor. The Megabyte ended up on some rubble, but the changing winds made consistant action just about impossible with the seabass. But, in time the blues responded to the chum and we were in light-tackle heaven! We caught 17 nice hard pulling fish and lost at least as many. By the end of the day, 2 reels were destroyed and in need of repair. Worth it! Every year we manage a bluefish trip like this and every year we enjoy the heck out of it. Tons of fun on a light fluke rod.
