The weather conditions were rough. There was a nasty chop coming from the south east and a swell from the south. The seas were angry and the fishing worse. The radio was all about not catching any fish or the huge number of boats that fished inside. Still we managed a single keeper fluke that was around 18", then a bluefish that took a dead fluke bait, a seabass that we thought may be a skate and was actually a lazy fish but well over the minimum. Then after hours of drifting, using jigs, dead bait and live bait, we trolled a bit hoping for some Mahi that have been spotted in the area. After releasing a 10 pound little tunny, we landed two green bonita.
